BIS Industrial Services Presents the 2012 “Excellence in Engineering Award” to Lucite

BIS Industrial Services are pleased to announce that Lucite, Billingham has been awarded the BIS Excellence in Engineering Award for 2012. The award recognises the contribution of engineering excellence in the chemical industry towards improved business performance. The recipient has also been rewarded for the innovation and delivery of company services within the chemical industry over the past year.

The final short list of nominees were all very well known & respected companies throughout the chemical sector and included: Solvay Interox, Lucite & Lotte Chemicals, all equally deserving of their place on the short list.

After much deliberation the final decision was made and the judges selected Lucite as the winner for their entry.

“Once again, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening and although there could only be one winner, all the nominees represented clearly demonstrated the talent that is currently operating within the chemical sector across the UK.”
